Associate Director of Technology & Systems Integration 

The Associate Director of Technology and Systems Integration (ADTSI) provides daily technical support to faculty, staff, and administration in regards to both instructional technology and a myriad of technical problems ranging from Wi-Fi connectivity to software and hardware malfunctions.  Furthermore, the ADTSI develops and provides training to enhance Cristo Rey Tampa High School’s (CRTHS) current technology and content integration, the CRTHS technology/innovation implementation plan, and the competent use of technological applications. The Associate Director assists with identifying and acquiring hardware, software, and network products and assists in effective implementation.  The ADTSI should be equally comfortable with both Information Technology and Instructional Technology and readily available to split responsibilities with the DTSI and function in place of the DTSI in the DTSI’s absence.

The ADTSI is directly responsible to the Director of Technology and Systems Integration (DTSI). In consultation with the DTSI, the Director of Finance, and the Principal, the ADTSI helps to plan the budget and implementation of the technology acquisitions.

Essential Job Functions:

Troubleshooting and Immediate Assistance

  1. Assists students with Chromebook issues ranging from software to hardware
  2. Assists Faculty and Staff with both in person and remote technical support regarding security software (i.e. GoGuardian, G Suite etc.), password resets, Microsoft, and malfunctioning hardware (e.g. desktops, cables, backup battery systems, etc.)

Planning and Facilitating Teaching and Learning

  1. Collaborates with DTSI, Academic Leadership, and Faculty to develop curriculum materials and specific lesson plans that integrate technology
  2. Assists with the integration of technology in all curriculum areas
  3. Facilitates school participation in technology through focused programs and activities
  4. Conducts professional development in areas of technology and systems integration
  5. Advises the plan of instructional delivery through the learning management systems of the school and the device management software

Competencies for Educators

  1. Collaborates with the DTSI to provide leadership in the school's use of instructional technology resources to enhance learning
  2. Follows a plan for professional development and actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally

Planning and Facilitating Program Administration, Marketing and Business Development

  1. Provides leadership and collaborates with ADTSI and other departments to develop, implement, and update the school's instructional technology plan aligned with the school's mission
  2. Collaborates with the DTSI, Campus Leadership, Academic Leadership, Admissions, Faculty, Staff, and Students to evaluate and select resources addressing curriculum needs and learning goals
  3. Manages school's technology budget process to ensure funding
  4. Leads in the ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of all things related to technology
  5. Assists the Department of Advancement in the development of digital media used in marketing, public relations, and professional development
  6. Carries out instruction or non-instructional duties as assigned and/or as needed
