Faith in Action: The Salesian Spirit
At Cristo Rey Tampa, Campus Ministry is more than just a department—it is the heartbeat of our school. Guided by the Salesian charism of St. John Bosco, we believe a truly transformative education must serve as four things: a home, a school, a church, and a playground.
Our mission is to bring these four pillars to life by fostering a vibrant community of faith. We invite every student, regardless of their religious background, to grow in their relationship with the Creator and find their purpose.
How Our Students Lead: Under the guidance of our Campus Minister, students take ownership of their spiritual journey through:

Liturgical Leadership: Planning monthly Masses and serving as cantors, musicians, Eucharistic ministers, and altar servers.

Spiritual Growth: Participating in and organizing retreats that provide space for reflection and connection.

Service & Outreach: Engaging in volunteerism and community festivals that celebrate our shared joy and commitment to others.

Extracurriculars
Academics and honing our students’ corporate work skills are the primary focus at Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School; however, we encourage our students to participate in extracurricular activities to practice the very skills they learn in the classroom and at work. Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers continually learn to balance their rigorous academic course load with participation in sports and clubs.
