Transforming Our Future – One Student At a Time

At Cristo Rey Tampa High School, we believe that accessibility is as equally important as punctuality.  As part of our overall mission, we provide multiple forms of transportation to accommodate various routes.  Please note our routes are reviewed annually and will be either renewed or canceled based on need and distance.  Please click on one of our transportation options below to view further details:

  • Corporate Work Study
  • Before and After School
  • HART

Corporate Work Study

Our Corporate Work Study model requires all Cristo Rey students to be punctual.  To ensure this, our students receive transportation to and from work as part of the Corporate Work Study Program.

Before and After School

The before and after school services offered are based on need and distance from the school.  The model used for before and after school transportation is called arterial transportation.  Central pick-up and drop-off points are identified, and parents must get their students to and from these points. There is a fee for Cristo Rey Transportation before and after school of $200 a semester.

For the 2018-2019 school year, there are two routes that provide before and after school services.

East Route

Stops are offered at San Jose Mission, St. Clement’s Catholic Church, and the Circle K on Williams St. and MLK Blvd (Plant City and Dover).

South Route

Stops are offered at Pet Supermarket, Cypress Village Shopping Center and BayCare Laboratories on Big Bend Road (Sun City Center and Riverview).

North and West Route

Stops are offered at Muvico (Wesley Chapel), near Bruce B. Downs and Fowler, and Sheldon Road and Hillsborough Avenue.

If the above options are not suitable for your transportation needs, consider HART, Tampa's public transportation system.  With a fleet of 200 buses that services an area of roughly 1000 square miles, HART  can accommodate most commutes.  To find a nearby route, click here: HART Route. Public transportation passes will be provided by the school.
