At Cristo Rey Tampa High School, we believe that accessibility is as equally important as punctuality. As part of our overall mission, we provide multiple forms of transportation to accommodate various routes. Please note our routes are reviewed annually and will be either renewed or canceled based on need and distance. Please click on one of our transportation options below to view further details:
- Corporate Work Study
- Before and After School
Our Corporate Work Study model requires all Cristo Rey students to be punctual. To ensure this, our students receive transportation to and from work as part of the Corporate Work Study Program.
Before and After School
The before and after school services offered are based on need and distance from the school. The model used for before and after school transportation is called arterial transportation. Central pick-up and drop-off points are identified and parents must get their students to and from these points.
For the 2016-17 school year, there are three routes that provide before and after school services.
Stops are offered at San Jose Mission and St. Clement’s Catholic Church (Plant City and Dover).
Stops are offered at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission and Publix on U.S. 301 (Wimauma and Riverview).
North and West Route
Stops are offered at Muvico (Wesley Chapel), near Bruce B. Downs and Fowler, and Sheldon Road and Hillsborough Avenue.
If the above options are not suitable for your transportation needs, consider HART, Tampa's public transportation system. With a fleet of 200 buses that services an area of roughly 1000 square miles, HART can accommodate most commutes. To find a nearby route, click here: HART Route. Once you have arrived at the page, enter your start and end points as well as the date and time you wish to travel to receive directions to the nearest stops and drop-off points.
