The mission of the College & Career Counseling Department at Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School is to prepare every student for success in college, career, and life. We provide personalized, data-driven guidance and support to students and families throughout all four years of high school, helping each student identify and pursue the college or university that best fits their academic, financial, and personal goals.

We believe all students have the potential to succeed in higher education. Through comprehensive college and career readiness programming, individualized advising, college exploration, and support with the college, scholarship, and financial aid process, we empower students to think ambitiously, make informed decisions, and confidently pursue their future.

Our approach is grounded in data and student outcomes, using academic performance, college match indicators, and postsecondary results to guide advising and ensure students are positioned for success. We are committed to cultivating a strong college-going culture where every student graduates prepared to thrive in college and beyond.
