Cristo Rey Tampa High School (CRT) and Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) recognized the support and contributions of more than 50 local employers in the Tampa Bay Area that partner with Cristo Rey Tampa to offer a work study experience to complement their college preparatory curriculum.
Aerosonic LLC was awarded the Corporate Work Study Partner of the Year. This award is given to a Partner who has demonstrated unwavering support and contributions toward CRT goals and success of students in the workplace.
Barbara Matsumoto from Aerosonic LLC was awarded the Supervisor of the Year for her excellence in leadership and stewardship of the work study program in the workplace.
Shenelle Sendar from Step Up For Students, was awarded the Mentor of the Year for her excellence in nurturing intellectual growth and professional guidance in the workplace.
The Father John Foley Award, named after the founder of the Cristo Rey model, was awarded to Mr. Scott Riley, a Founding Corporate Work Study Partner. Mr. Riley and his family generously support Cristo Rey Tampa and are passionate about the Cristo Rey mission.
